The first DoRego’s was opened by the DoRego brothers in Cape Town, South Africa in the early 70s. DoRego’s offers a great range of value-for-money meals, from the quick craving to something to savor—all portions are big in size and low in cost. This concept has grown to more than 70 Fast Food Franchises in South Africa, Lesotho and Mauritius. In 2009, DoRego’s then underwent a major brand facelift and was recently purchased by the Spur Corporation who are committed to growing DoRego’s substantially in South Africa and into the African Continent.
